Texas Engineering Extension Service

For more than 80 years, the Texas Engineering Extension Service’s (TEEX) goals have included developing businesses and the economy, protecting people and the environment, and building a safe, modern infrastructure. The agency’s ongoing efforts have resulted in cleaner drinking water, better roads and infrastructure, improved workplace safety and enhanced public safety through the training of law enforcement officers and firefighters.


Texas Association of Regional Councils - Partner with Growing Green Texas

The Texas Association of Regional Councils (TARC) is the state organization of the 24 regional Councils of Governments in Texas. With 2,000 plus local government members, the regional Councils of Governments join local governments, as well as state, federal, and private partners, to provide cost-effective, well-planned and more accountable public services in each region of Texas.


Texas Department of Agriculture - Growing Green Communities Partner

The Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA) is a state agency established by the Texas Legislature in 1907 that provides value-added services through their marketing and regulatory services.

The mission statement of the TDA is to: Partner with all Texans to make Texas the nation’s leader in agriculture, fortify our economy, empower rural communities, promote healthy lifestyles, and cultivate winning strategies for rural, suburban and urban Texas through exceptional service and the common threads of agriculture in our daily lives.

The Texas Economic Development Council (TEDC) is an Austin-based, statewide, non-profit professional association dedicated to the development of economic and employment opportunities in Texas. A one-stop shop for ideas, information and influence, TDEC is the largest state association of economic development professionals, volunteers and elected officials. These diverse members share a common goal ‒ bringing new investment and jobs to Texas.


Texas General Land Office - Partner in Growing Green Texas

The Texas General Land Office (TGLO) was established by the 1836 Constitution for the Republic of Texas. Today, the General Land Office’s main functions are earning money for the state’s Permanent School Fund, overseeing state veterans benefits, maintaining historic land records and maps and acting as steward of the state’s coast. The General Land Office is the only Texas state agency that receives more revenue than it costs taxpayers.


Texas Center for Applied Technology - Partner with Growing Green Texas

The Texas Center for Applied Technology’s (TCAT) mission is to provide quality research and practical engineering solutions to critical state and national needs. We aim to expand the research and technical expertise of The Texas A&M University System. We establish partnerships / alliances with the Engineering Programs, industry, government agencies, and other universities to promote the economic development of the State of Texas and the Nation. We bring together under the A&M System umbrella a unique mix of academia, industry, federal and military expertise to achieve solutions to real-world problems.
